Deprom’s Founder & CEO, Arturs Kanajevs, took centre stage at this year’s London Build Expo, joining forces with Aaron Parratt and Hippolyte Mounier-Vehier from Legendre UK to present the pioneering façade strategy behind the Peterborough Street development in London.
Speaking on the Modern Construction Stage the trio presented and discussed the project’s forward-thinking approach – one that redefines how complex building envelopes can be delivered in dense urban environments.
The presentation highlighted three core innovations from Deprom for their partners at Legendre UK:
- Completed façade finishes installed without the need for scaffolding, unlocking faster programmes, reduced costs, safer sites, and minimal disruption.
- A refined, seamless window-installation process, designed to eliminate interfaces, reduce risk, and uplift the architectural clarity of the building.
- A no-SFS (Steel Framing System) interior methodology, streamlining operations internally while improving predictability and quality across trades.
Arturs spoke passionately about the project and the wider shift towards smarter, leaner construction practices:
“At Deprom we believe innovation must be practical, measurable, and felt on the ground. Peterborough Street allowed us to demonstrate how considered façade design can remove layers of complexity, accelerate delivery and ultimately enhance the built environment. This is the future of construction – less clutter, more clarity and a relentless focus on efficiency.”
The session drew strong interest from contractors, developers, and designers keen to explore alternative façade strategies that prioritise safety, speed, and architectural precision.
Deprom’s contribution underscored the company’s commitment to pushing boundaries and championing modern methods of construction – showing once again why we continue to be a key technical voice in the evolving UK construction landscape.
